Combining UTS’s commitment to experiential learning with Animal Logic’s industry expertise, the UTS Animal Logic Academy (UTS ALA) is a unique collaboration that responds directly to the challenges of the visualisation industry.

Located on the UTS campus in the heart of Sydney’s creative precinct, UTS ALA will focus on the application of animation, visual effects and computer-generated imagery (CGI) in a broad range of contexts. It will take a transdisciplinary approach to education, championing the pursuit of innovation in all facets of creative professional practice through a cohort system.

The initial course offering will be a Master of Animation and Visualisation that draws inspiration and connection from across UTS, the creative industries and emerging technologies. Students will build on their existing skills and be mentored by practicing industry professionals from Animal Logic, UTS and other organisations in a custom-built studio where real-world production pipelines will be emulated.

The Master of Animation and Visualisation equips students with specialist skills in digital animation, visual effects and computer-generated imagery (CGI). This career-accelerating degree has been co-designed and developed as part of the UTS Animal Logic Academy (UTS ALA) a dynamic collaboration between UTS and world-leading creative studio Animal Logic.

It is delivered in a purpose-built studio environment emulating a real-world production experience to best industry standards.
