Hear from our Creative Lead Alex Weight, as he takes you through the stages our animation and visualisation students mastered in order to create our most recent 3D animated production ‘Apart’. From art and story, through modelling, rigging, animation, previs, layout, surfacing, visual effects, lighting, composting, to technical directing and production coordination, learn how we best prepare our graduates for industry by mentoring them in these specific areas of animation production.
We’ll also be joined by recent Academy graduate, Nieminy Nian, who will share her experience completing the Master of Animation and Visualisation and how it helped land her current role as a Lighting Artist at Animal Logic studios.
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about how to best prepare your application to join us and become a specialist in next year’s master’s course (including a live Q&A), so that you too can launch your career in a high-end animation or visual effects studio like Animal Logic, Flying Bark, ILM and more.
Plus we’ll be celebrating the online premiere of ‘Apart’, which was an official selection at this year’s Sydney Film festival.
