To celebrate the launch of the Visualisation Institute, UTS will be hosting a Launch & Symposium on the Thursday 9th and Friday 10th June 2022.
The Institute draws on cross-disciplinary research and expertise to create data visualisations, stories and immersive experiences. With partners from industry and the community, they will be undertaking ambitious visualisation projects, working across a broad range of technologies, to address industry and societal challenges and drive change.
- The Launch (Thursday 9th June, 5pm – 7pm) will feature keynote presentations and panel discussions from industry and university innovators in the broad field of visualisation.
- The Symposium (Friday 10th June, 10am – 5.30pm) will feature in-depth sessions on a range of visualisation-related topics, along with demonstrations in the UTS Data Arena of a range of visualisation projects at UTS.
