UTS Animal Logic Academy is excited to announce that we will be running our 1-day ‘Introduction to Houdini’ short course in April!
This course is designed to provide an overview of Houdini, focusing on the basic fundamentals of the package and how users can apply those fundamentals consistently across the entire application.
The course will be facilitated by Dylan Neill, VFX Lead at the UTS Animal Logic Academy, who has over 20 years’ experience in the VFX industry as a 3D artist and supervisor. Dylan’s film credits include ‘Outlaw King’, ‘Lord of the Rings’, ‘King Kong’ and ‘I, Robot’, and he has also worked on commercials for major brands such as Toyota, Qantas and Telstra. Dylan is also the author of his own YouTube channel offering online tutorials in 3D animation and visual effects.
During the course, Dylan will share presentations and case studies, along with some hands-on practical exercises. Participants will also have the opportunity to work through tasks and examples whilst receiving feedback and input.
