This year a number animated films from the UTS Animal Logic Academy will be screening at the Sydney Film Festival.
Join us for our students’ most recent short film ‘Spirit’ before ‘Even Mice Belong in Heaven’ on the 6th and 13th of November, as well as alongside ALA researcher Simon Rippingale’s ‘Jasper’ as part of the UTS Retrospective. The Retrospective will be showcasing outstanding UTS student films and animation from the past 10 years on the 9th and 10th of November at Palace Central at 6pm.
And don’t miss the premiere of ‘Jarli’, a project developed by Simon, First Nations collaborators and our research team that tells of a young girl in outback Australia who dreams of flying and sets out on an adventure that takes her to the stars. Screening on the 6th and 13th of November with the feature ‘Felix and the Hidden Treasure’.
